This is one of the best DIY sets I’ve ever used. I grew up doing crafts and using The Smithsonian sets to do science-related projects. When I worked with kids, I enjoyed doing STEM projects, but it’s practically impossible to find kits that contain high quality materials, sustainable packaging, AND are made in North America. This is why I’m so impressed with this company. They also make kits for kids with adorable packaging. There was enough material for me to make extra lip balm. I’m giving them away as gifts for the Holidays. I didn’t use the essential oils, but I truly appreciated that they were natural and organic. The cocoa butter gives a light hint to the lip balm that makes me think of red velvet cake. I’d 100% purchase this kit again.

My wife and I originally started a small soap making factory in 2004. As our girls were growing up, they loved crafts and DIY projects. But we were horrified to see the ingredients that were going into these kits. So we pivoted our business into a line of DIY crafts using only natural ingredients.

Fun experience!
The whole experience is really fun with beautiful packaging. I had a great time with my friend and I am using the lip balm every day. I will recommend it to others!!!Just that my cocoa butter is empty (my friend’s box has it). Even though it doesn’t affect the experience much, I am a bit disappointed. The seller responded promptly by arrange a refund. Much appreciated.

Annoying that one of the essential oil bottles was totally empty and the safflower oil top that was supposed to help put drops in the wax didn’t fit and kept popping off.

As you can see if there were wafers is now a clump of cocoa butter. It's all outside of the wax paper. As I don't have an example if what their wafers looked like, I'm afraid this is wash.

Item was just as described! Truly a wonderful product and I enjoyed the process. It makes a TON of lip balm, which is so excellent to have around during the winter. I know what all of the ingredients are, I got to control the scent and consistency (I left the seaweed powder out), and the eco-friendly packaging is incredible! Helps me reduce my plastic waste, since everything is cardboard, glass or tin (both reusable!). I look forward to planting the wildflower paper in the spring.

I'll be ordering more for Christmas presents and holiday gifts. Plus, it comes with a reusable wrapping cloth inside, so I don't even have to worry about buying and wasting a ton of gift wrap/tape. Great sustainable product -- Wish I had found it earlier.
