Arrange the pork chops in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 9 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. Internal temperature should read 140 °F. Let rest for 5 minutes until carryover heat raises the temperature to 145 °F.
Notes
Use 1 ½ to 2-inch thick boneless pork chops for the best result. Thin chops won’t give you that “crispy exterior, juicy interior” texture that we’re aiming for.
An overcrowded air fryer basket means unevenly-cooked pork chops. Never stack the chops - cook them in batches if needed.
If you’re short on time, frozen chops will do - just air-fry them for 3 to 5 minutes, season, and proceed with the recipe.
Season the chops however you like! Try cumin if you like a bit of heat, a bit of brown sugar for a hint of sweetness, or a coating of parmesan for a cheesy flavor and extra crispiness.
Use a meat thermometer to make sure that the pork chops are cooked to a safe temperature.
Rest the meat for at least 5 minutes after cooking so that the juices can redistribute, and you can enjoy juicier pork chops!
Serve: Air fryer pork chops go with just about anything! We enjoy them with a side of coleslaw, mashed cauliflower, salad, or some dinner rolls. For a heartier meal, pair with a creamy soup.Store: Cool completely and transfer made-ahead or leftover pork chops in a shallow airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 5 days or store in the freezer for up to 1 month. Reheat in the air fryer when ready to enjoy.
